These schools are in Utaati village areas, Ukia location in Kaiti Constituency, Makueni County. They sit on a semi-arid area which is affected by harsh weather conditions with poor topography. Addtionally these schools were marginalized at the time with limited facilities and teachers. Lunch was provided for 1450 children for 5 straight years. The year was 2008 - 2012.

Kiukuni Primary School sits on the hills of Kyuasini. The school underwent complete renovations. Additionally, an office and a set of toilets were constructed. Textbooks, learning materials, stationery and voluntary services were sufficiently provided to the school and because of the social impact of the project, a secondary school was founded. Some of the alumni have also gone back to support education and community initiatives.

Miting’ani Primary School sits on a flat ground and is quite accessible from the main road. Here, two classrooms were renovated, provided textbooks, learning materials and stationery.

Makuli Primay School sits on the hills of Utaati, it also has a secondary school. Besides the feeding programme, stationery, text books and learning materials were equally provided for 2 years.

Utaati Primary School is the largest of all these schools and it sits on an equally slopy area. Learning materials and school feeding programme provided for 2 years.

Kikongoni Primary School sits on sloppy hills of Kikongoni, it is separated by river Kaiti and is on the other side of the hills. Two classrooms were completely renovated.
