Education in most rural areas remains crucial because of limited accessibility to school facilities and learning infrastructure. It is ultimately the long term game changer for these communities through steadily prompting change. The driving force of execution is an active community participation paradigm and meaningful partnerships with the stakeholders. Mafanikio works with the local leadership and communities to drive the education agenda. The bottom-up approach continues to create confidence within the community which is an important foundation. This prompts the community to support socio-educational initiatives and be on board with progressive matters. This gives an opportunity for topical and various matters to be addressed from the local point level comprehensively and by and large presented on a county level. Our focus is to provide safe spaces where the children/young people can be nurtured from a younger age to articulate issues affecting them and their community with an aim of seeking solid and viable solutions.
