The concept of mentorship is to provide a platform of expression, leadership, engagement and innovation for the rural youth of Ganda & Sabaki location in primary and secondary schools. Just like other young people across the country, they are faced with a myriad of challenges stemming from socio-economic aspects such as reproductive health, leadership crisis and politics. Young people are battling with issues of poverty, growth, education and ambitions without proper guidance. There is a gap in youth development leadership that solely focuses on their wellbeing. It is important to fill this gap to enable the young people gain confidence, skills and knowledge to counter challenges and issues that arise in their lives currently and in the future. The main objective is to change this narrative through employing mentorship opportunities in order to harness their leadership skills and equip them in technical-knowledge to accelerate their education and provide them a platform of expression, leadership and networking opportunities. .
